Save Mart Center Smoking Ban

September 5, 2017 4:26 pm

Beginning September 1, 2017 smoking will not be allowed at the Save Mart Center arena.

While smoking has never been allowed inside the arena the venue’s outside designated smoking area will be closed and no smoking will be allowed in any area surrounding the venue.

“This ban is a result of an executive order by CSU Chancellor Timothy White who has banned tobacco products from all 23 California State University campuses.” Said Steve Tadlock, SMG Regional Vice President and Save Mart Center General Manager.

The ban will also affect University areas from Shaw to Sierra avenues and Bulldog Stadium to Campus Pointe.

The ban includes traditional tobacco products like cigarettes, pipes, and cigars as well as vaping devices like e-cigarettes.
